I bought a headlight relay kit for a 2005 Silverado SS. For once the instruction were dead on and step by step. It was the easiest upgrade I've ever done. Thanks.

Four New Products On The Loose!

The first of which is an addition to our industry leading line of integrated harnesses.  Within the past few years many of the engine and transmission combos transplanted into project vehicles have moved away from the outdated Gen 1 Chevy small block over to the ever-so-popular 1999 - Up Gen 3, 5.3L & 6.0L, Chevy small block.  These engines, coupled to a 4L60E transmission and wired with the 60617 are the perfect powertrain for any and all project vehicles.  The Painless 60617 harness integrates the Gen 3 fuel injection and automatic 4L60E transmission control along with a complete chassis wiring harness into one fuse block.  Click on the picture above-right to check it out.

Next, we grow our electric fan relay kit offerings with three new part numbers.  For those of you that have asked in the past that we develop relay kits to operate two cooling fans off of a thermostatic switch, PCM controlled and/or an A/C switch… well here’s three new kits that do exactly that:

  1. Part # 30116 controls two 35 Amp cooling fans, comes with a (195°F on / 185°F off) thermostatic switch that threads (3/8” – 18NPTF) into the head or coolant passage and has the extra wiring needed to monitor when the A/C is on so that the fans are on as well.   Click here for more info.
  2. Part # 30117 controls two 35 Amp cooling fans, comes with a (185°F on / 175°F off) thermostatic switch that threads (3/8” – 18NPTF) into the head or coolant passage and has the extra wiring needed to monitor when the A/C is on so that the fans are on as well.  Click here for more info.
  3. The third electric fan relay kit is a perfect match for those of you that want to install electric cooling fans onto your 1999 to 2004 Chevrolet C/K trucks. Part # 30118 controls two 35 Amp cooling fans, comes with a (205°F on / 190°F off) thermostatic switch that threads (12 – 1.5 MM) into the extra port on the passenger side head of Gen 3 and 4 engines. Harness also includes the extra wiring needed to monitor when the A/C is on so that the fans are on as well.  Click here for more info.
