Hello all! I have a weatherproof 8 position fuse block (I think it's a 20207 or something) installed on my motorcycle. I have it mounted upside down. The other day I washed the bike and lots of water laid inside the rubber fuse block cover. The fuses weren't blown, but look pretty rough. The The bike starts and runs fine, but I have no headlight or taillight. I think the problem is the ignition relay the kit came with. When I shake it, I hear small parts rattling inside. I tried to replace the relay with no luck. The only relays my local parts stores have are a 4 prong relay and a 5 prong with either an 87A or 87B. The problem is the relay that came with the kit is 5 prong with 2 87s (no a or b). I was told by the Painless tech that a regular 4 prong with no center post would work, but it does not. The 5 prong I have with a 87B works, but I only have lights with the switch off. As soon as I turn the switch on, the lights go out and the bike will start.

So my question is, did I fry the entire fuse block? Or do I need the 12V 2x20A relay to make it work again? If so, any ideas where to get one quickly?

Thanks!

The relay you need is a #80130. You may be able to get one at your NAPA store. Depending on where you live, there may be a Painless dealer close where you could pick one up. Autozone can order you one overnight as well.
Let me know how else I can help.
Dennis
