hello all, I have a 50303 switch panel that is giving me fits. The problem I am having is when I turn on the starter switch I get nothing from the starter, no sound no clicking. It is a new starter and solenoid. This happens regardless of if the ignition switch is on or off. What I am seeing on the panel is when the start switch is pressed "on" the ignition and the accy switches light up in the off position. I have the red power going to the battery and the ground going to the negative of the battery. I have an electric fan hooked up and it works like it should. I also have an msd box and timing control. The car has been sitting for a number of years and when I first tried to start it the starter made about 1/4 turn then nothing..dead as a doornail and has been ever since. The start switch does not work regardless of whether or not the ign switch is on. I am getting power from the start switch to the starter solenoid and the battery has 12 volts. I also checked the accy switch and it is only showing 2-3 volts, not 12 like the others is it possible that I have power feeding back into the panel or maybe a bad switch? I checked all grounds and am sure I have all the connections right. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am about to go bald pulling my hair out.
