Recently I noticed that my solenoid is not making the sound that it makes when I switch from mode 1 to 2 or 3. Is it not working? The lights work, it appears to be charging the battery. How can I test the soleniod?
Thanks
Jerry

Jerry With the solenoid still hooked up, check voltage on one side (cable post) and you should have battery voltage and the other side none with the switch in the center position. Switch the switch to the red light side and you should have power on both large terminals. If not, check the small terminals to see if either on has power in the red mode. It should have. Also double check the other small terminal wire which is a ground to be sure it has a good ground. Let me know Dennis
